Thank you so much for you emails and letters! Last night I got a letter from home with pictures and I LOVED that! Send more 🙂 I can recieve pictures on this email address but I will only get to see them on fridays! …which is better than nothing!
I love it here! It took a little bit to adjust but it is wonderful! It amazes me that with the help from the Lord we can do anything He asks us to! I feel like I have learned so much in this first week that normally I would NOT have been able to, but I have been and it is because Heavenly Father is helping me! I pray so much everyday that I can do the thing which he has called me to do and it is working. He is so very aware of the things in our hearts!
We study hard everyday and become really drained and tired by the end of the night! But yet, every morning we wake up ready to start it all over again!! It is so weird how fast it has gone already. I know the mission is going to go much faster than I want it to!
Hermana Robison and I are such goof balls! I love her so much! I can’t even express how much I KNOW now that the Lord truly knows us and what we need! He knew that her and I needed to be companions so that we could grow from each other and strengthen one another! It is so great!
I love and miss you so much! I hope that all is well back home! It make me so happy to know that your making an effort to go to the temple every week! I get to go every Friday and it is the BEST! So peaceful and perfect! I love the Lord and His son JesuCristo con todo mi corazon!
I am so thankful that he has given us the gospel! What a blessing it is in our lives.
My time is just about up! I will write a letter and send it home so that you can give it to grandpa! I actually was thinking about him while I was at the temple and I want to tell him that! So I will be sending that in the actual mail this afternoon!
Thank you for you support and prayers! I feel them everyday..it is actually kind of weird, but not really because it is so awesome!!
I love you all so much and am very blessed that youre mine!
ps. Thank you for sharing that story with me Dad! What a great reminder that the Lord knows us and will help us! I love you!
Well I’m here! I flew into Salt Lake around 7:30 Wednesday morning. I caught the shuttle with about 5 other missionaries to head to the MTC. It was so good to not be alone. I did get to soak in an hour of alone time on the plane! I was the ONLY person on the plane sitting by myself. The two people who were supposed to be sitting next to me didn’t want to, so I had the whole row. It was actually kind of nice. I got to the MTC and was earlier than the arrival time so I sat around with a bunch of missionaries until everyone else showed up. We were able to eat lunch at the Main MTC campus while we waited and that was fun to experience because soon after, I found out that I would live on the new campus. We got thrown into a lot of things and had a lot of information. It was definitely overwhelming. I met my companion who I had actually found on facebook back in June. Hermana Robison! She is so sweet. The Lord truly does know us because her and I need each other. We both feel the same way about the whole mission experience and have been able to help one another. She really is such a blessing. Oh I also got to see Elder Jeffords! He was doing good and leaves next week. But the BEST part of the entire day was seeing Sister Davies. She is the most wonderful sister in the world. I gave her a big hug and cried with her for just a short second or two! I am so happy to be able to be serving with her. Knowing that she is doing the same thing as I am gives me strength to keep pushing on!
I LOVE the Lord and I know that this is so hard because He is training me and molding me into the person that he wants me to become. I will try everyday to do the best I can because I know that there is so much more to come! One of my favorite scriptures D&C 58 3-6 explains this even better than I could ever! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! I miss you too. Have a wonderful week! Until next Friday!
ps. send lots of emails and letters! I would love some encouraging words 🙂
Bright and Early, about 3:00 am we got up and got ready to take our Missionary to the Boise Airport, to catch her 6:30 flight to SLC. It seemed almost like taking her to Provo, because you just drop off and can’t go with her to be sure she got on the plane. I would have loved to see her board and see the plane take off. Then she had to catch a bus to provo. I think I like the Provo drop off at least you know they made it safe to the front door. Stef’s friend Nicole also woke up early to say goodbye. That was special to Stef.
